Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

"Dude... You didn't get my head."
About a week ago, a long-time friend told me to check something out on youTube. “What’s this?” It was a nice pop tune intertwined with some symphonic music. He said it was The Price of Freedom, a track from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, a game he had just completed on the Playstation Portable (PSP). First of all, I felt bummed out for losing some touch with gaming these days. He told me I should add this to my radio station. I said: “While I like it a lot, my station is geared more toward pure symphonic tracks.” Then he said: “Ah, then you will like this…”
Fullfilled Desire
When I heard this, I fell in love with it. It’s a one-track symphonic compilation of some of the new Crisis Core pieces, including The Price of Freedom, and a revisiting of the original Final Fantasy VII soundtrack. You can easily hear the classical translation of signature themes like Aerith’s Theme, Shinra Company, and Fighting music, which bring back very fond memories of old geeky times.
If I were forced to point out a single minute weakness in this track, it would be the part when the electric guitar kicks. After a few listens, it might seem a tad obtrusive, at least to me, but it easily grows on oneself.
I haven’t played Crisis Core. In fact, the original part VII is the only Final Fantasy I have ever played. I was more into the Sega Phantasy Star series which didn’t equate to the Final Fantasy legacy, but it had its own speical place in our hearts. Either way, I’m still a big fan of the old-school role playing game atmosphere.

Well am glad you liked it my friend and am sure that everyone else who listens will.
Those geeky times are the times which made you, me and us whom we are,, mmmm.. maybe they are geeky but I am still living them.
Hopefully your station listeners would like it.
